Healing Rooms of Mobile

I received healing and deliverance from severe reflux and GI symptoms that ultimately caused me to have a panic attack one night.  The Lord showed me that I was carrying a spirit of fear, and that was behind the symptoms, causing me to be physically sick.  He also showed me that the enemy got an open door by way of my thoughts.  He showed me that I needed to repent for allowing fear to control my thoughts and actions, and when I did, the symptoms started to disappear.  I get more (physical) freedom every day just by taking every thought captive, and releasing God’s word over my mind and body! The Lord also grew out one of my legs two inches (total) on two separate visits to make it even with my other leg.  The interesting thing about that was, I came to the Healing Room to ask for prayer on a totally different issue, and God threw the leg miracle in as a bonus! My daughter Wendy called me early in the morning to tell me she was in severe abdominal pain. She had been awakened several hours earlier with the pain. I prayed with her before she went to see her doctor. A few hours later she called me to tell me she had a mass on her right ovary. Her doctor wanted to schedule surgery as soon as possible, which was a month away.This was a long wait in pain.  Wendy’s friends and church prayed. Our friends and church prayed. Sav-A-Life here in Mobile, where I counsel, prayed. The week before the surgery we met with Healing Rooms of Mobile, where we serve, and we prayed for Wendy’s healing. I believed that Wendy was healed because her pain was gone. I asked my daughter to have her doctor check her before he performed the surgery. She seemed hesitant, not thinking there would be an opportunity to do so. The day before the surgery she went the doctor’s office to pick up the orders and have the pre admit procedures done. Her doctor was at the front desk (unusual) and she asked him to check her because she thought she had been healed. He agreed and checked her. He felt no mass and an ultrasound was done to confirm that it was gone. Surgery was canceled! Praise God! (A.S. Mobile, AL)

Shortly after David’s 2 year old birthday, he was diagnosed with severe food allergies. Not only could he not eat eggs, soy products of any kind, peanuts or milk (including cheese, yogurt, ice cream, cool whip, etc.) these foods could not touch his skin or he would develop hives and awful skin rashes which were very itchy. Quite often it was necessary to give him steroids to help clear up these rashes. In addition, twice daily he usually had to use topical skin creams/lotions with mild steroids to keep his skin clear. At times even antibiotics were necessary when his skin became infected. We had him retested in the spring of 06 at the age of 8. He was still severely allergic– so much so that they refused to give him allergy shots. David had been prayed for many times and it was nearly 7 years that we had been asking God for his healing. So we took David to the Healing Rooms for prayer. This time David was completely healed! Now he can eat anything! No more rashes. Even the discoloration of his skin on his arms and legs due to extended steroid use, has been restored! The skin is normal in color! God is amazing! Don’t you love it!!  Those of you at the Healing Room last Monday night will recall praying for a nodule on my throat that seemed to be affecting my voice….the next day it was better and the following day it was gone!!!! Almost a month ago my husband felt his left arm numb. The doctor said it could be a symptom of a stroke. After a CT scan of his head, the doctor said my husband had a brain tumor. On January 12th my husband came to the Healing Room for healing prayer. Two days later we returned to a second doctor who was a neurologist and said my husband doesn’t have a brain tumor. I had been experiencing stomach pains for several days and  wasn’t sure if it was related to medication I had been taking or if there was something else going on. Several in the group laid hands on me and prayed for the pains to cease. They prayed for no ill affects from the medication. Praise God my stomach pains are gone. Thank you Lord! (C.B. Mobile, Al)

I was experiencing an unusual kind of mole on my wrist and each day it was becoming larger and darker in color. I knew I should probably get it checked out. That weekend we watched the DVDs with a group of people who were receiving training to work in the Healing Rooms. After our training session we broke into groups and prayed for each other. I received prayer for this unusual growth and we agreed in prayer for it to be removed from my body. The next morning it was much paler, and within 2 days it was completely gone. (D.M. Mobile, AL)

The news was bad.  “You have poly-cystic ovarian syndrome or PCOS” said my doctor.  He further told me that it would be nearly impossible to have children, and if there was to be any chance at all, it would be in conjunction with intensive fertility treatments. Several years later, I got married and shortly thereafter we were introduced to the Healing Rooms of Mobile.  We went for prayer for immediate needs–my husband’s hand and my carpal tunnel.  During my prayer time, I was asked if there was a long standing illness I had been dealing with.  I said no at first; then thought about the PCOS and relayed it to her.  She said that God had laid it on her heart to pray for my ovaries.  The team diligently prayed that night and told the cysts to go in the name of Jesus!  They also prayed for conception!  My husband and I left feeling God’s touch on our lives.  We returned in a couple of weeks to be prayed for again, and the lead team member of that group prophesied that my husband and I would conceive by the end of the year–and that was just two short months away.  My wonderful God, allowed me to conceive our daughter on December 31, 2006!  What an awesome God we serve!  My husband and I are now the proud parents of a healthy, beautiful baby girl! There is nothing our Lord can’t do!! I asked prayer for my 3 month old grandson, Phillip. He had a skin problem with his head and it was actually eating his tissue as we watched in horror!!! Our Healing Room members prayed like warriors for my grandson. Thursday morning my daughter took Phillip to a dermatologist. The true cause of Phillip’s skin problem was eczema!! The dermatologist prescribed mineral oil and hydrocortisone cream. The next morning his little head was healed. No redness, no drainage, no bumps, no scabs!!! Just a beautiful kissable little head with brown hair. No words can describe the joy we feel in seeing this miracle of God!! (S.C. Mobile, AL)

I came to the Healing Rooms twice for prayer and had a wonderful deliverance through the ministry I received! I had a great burden lifted after having some ministry on forgiveness. The Lord is talking to me again and I have had at least three “God arranged” encounters with people who were hurting and needed prayer. I wanted you to hear my testimony! All praise to Him! (D.P.
